Guys,
I am competing in a competition in China. I was the top selected athlete for the US. Part of the competition will be held in the Shaolin Temple (with the cooperation/sponsorship of the Shaolin Monks) and Tibet.
I am going out there and representing rope dart, hook swords, pudao, and mantis. I will be dropping some lines and posting some vids. Wish me luck.
Oh and shot out to Frank (traditional rope dart guy) from New York who I saw at Capital Classics in Washington DC this past week competing. Your rope dart was nice, I hope we can jam out some more!!

Mon, September 24, 2007 - 7:22 PMwhat competition is this?
and how were you selected?
because there is only one organization in the United States that is recognized by the International Wushu Federation, which is the only international organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee. to my knowledge, there is only one competition this year being organized by the IWuF and that's in Beijing in November.
i'm not trying to knock you, but saying that you were selected to represent the US at this tournament is somewhat misleading if it is not in some kind of official capacity.
i only say this because i have represented the US as part of wushu team recognized by the IWuF on more than one occasion.
